About

“I’ve always believed that the best opportunities begin with relationships.”

People often ask how someone with degrees in zoology and environmental engineering ended up working in international development, philanthropy, diplomacy, and eventually real estate. The truth is that my career has never been about following a straight line—it has been about following opportunities to serve, build relationships, and make a meaningful impact.

Over the past three decades, I’ve had the privilege of working with organizations whose missions have taken me around the globe. My work has included building partnerships across the nonprofit, business, and public sectors, raising support for international programs, and helping create opportunities for entrepreneurs and communities around the world. Those experiences, combined with a lifelong curiosity about the world and a love of meaningful travel, have taken me to more than sixty countries and introduced me to incredible cultures, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable adventures.

At home, you’ll usually find me in downtown St. Petersburg, Florida. I love discovering new restaurants, hosting friends, exploring neighborhoods, and helping others fall in love with this city. Real estate has become another way to serve people—helping them find not just a house, but a place where they can build the life they want.

Travel remains one of my greatest passions. Whether I’m wandering through the streets of Taipei, caving in New Zealand, exploring Switzerland by train, or finding hidden cafés in Asia, I believe travel has a unique way of expanding our perspective and reminding us how connected we all are. Much of this website is devoted to sharing practical travel advice, itineraries, lessons learned, and stories from the road.

This site is a collection of the things I love—travel notes, local recommendations, resources, practical tips, terrible selfies (though I am improving!), and stories gathered from years of saying “yes” to new experiences. My hope is that something here encourages you to travel a little farther, connect a little deeper, or discover a place that feels like home.
